We can arrange flights from your local airport, by our approved ATOL agents, and then adapted transfers from Paphos or Larnaca Airport, our meet and greet service will take you to your waiting adapted mini bus which is on site so if you are confined to a wheelchair you will not need to transfer as we offer wheelchair lock downs in our adapted vehicles.

We can arrange special medical aids for hire like wheelchair's, Hoists, commodes etc and for those people needing nursing care this can also be arranged by the hour.

Accommodation

The owner who is in a wheelchair has designed this small complex throughout with wheelchair clients in mind you will find a lovely sun deck leading to the swimming which has a pool hoist, all areas are level or ramped you have the choice of Studios suitable for 2/3 people or an apartment suitable for 6/7 people, local tours by adapted mini bus small extra charge for this service, choice of S/C or Bed and Breakfast .

Added to this the hotel can arrange, sailing * scuba driving * adapted boat trips * Para-sailing * jet sking * all designed for the less able.

HOME FROM HOME: Holidays for people with learning disabilities and their families.

Welcome to our new resort in Limassol, Home from Home is a holiday home for people with leaning disabilities, and their carers / relatives. Situated just outside Limassol, the detached house is set in a quiet location with easy access to the many attractions and sights that Cyprus has to offer.

Home from Home is owned and run by Linda & Nigel Giddings, Linda has worked with people with learning disabilities for many years and is fully qualified in all areas of health and social care work, including first aid / health and safety etc, the house can sleep upto 8 people, (depending on the sleeping arrangements required) this includes a seperate annex that is self contained, and an outdoor swimming pool, that can be secured when not in use, for safety reasons.

All holidays include meals, soft drinks and all excursions during your stay, there will be a driver and vehicle at your disposal throughout your holiday, as soon as you arrive at the airport you will be meet by Linda & Nigel with the on sight mini bus, wherevere you wish to go they will take you and whats more its all included in the cost of your holiday, the only spending money you require would be for entrance and admission fees to any attractions, all meals will be provided at the house and a packed lunch will be provided on days out, there are no hidden extras.

Whatever you wish to do on holiday, you can do it in Cyprus, anything from shopping, swimming, walking, bike-riding, sight-seeing, a visit to the local flea markets, historic sights, boat trips (fishing) Aquaparks, minigolf, cinema, camel riding, anything you name it and Linda & Nigel will try their best to arrange it all for you.

On certain dates during the year, you can take a minicruise that sails from Limassol Port to Egypt where you can see the famous Pyramids, please note that this minicruise is with a local tour company and only operates on certain dates and the cost would be around ÃƒÆ'Ã†''ÃƒÆ''Ãƒ'Ã'Â£200.00 per person so if you are interested in this minicruise we would need to check that it is running at the time you wish to travel.

WHEELCHAIRS:

Sadly the house is not suitable for wheelchair users as the access required is simply too narrow, however they can provide a wheelchair if required for days out,

The house is situated mid way between Paphos and Larnaca airports so you can arrive at any one of these airports, the transfer time is approximately 45 minutes.

Opened in 1998 ; Petrakis Nursing home is surprisingly tranquil; being situatedm in one of the most prestigious and quiet residental areas; and yet remains easily accessible and convenient. it offers nursing and residential care for 50 physically frail older people.

Petrakis Nursing Home provides a home where older people can be helped to live as independently as possible and the epmhasis is on quality and enjoyment of life. When necessary the staff offer highly skilled nursing care and are proud to do so in an atmosphere where residents are encouraged to feel they are still in charge of their own lives.

Our comfortable and well designed bedrooms offer en-suite bedrooms with roll-in showers, and are designed for single,double or triple all furnture has been fitted and made in warm wood neatly fitting into the living space with all our bedroom we can offer hosting facilites and call buttons.Orthopedic hi-lo hospital style beds are provided and are used by residents according to their particular level of dependence.

With fully trained staff on hand at all times as well as a Doctor this is the lifeblood of the establishment. Philosophy is offered daily by trained staff, the nursing home offers a will designed programme tailor made to your personal needs and can offer trips out in there own mini van a small charge may be made. The full board meals are designed by top quality cooks and always offer a choice of meal and is freshly cooked on site.
